Galaxy Note 7 Carnage – What Can You Do About It?

Galaxy Note 7, the $900-a-piece explosive, is all over the news for its ability to, well, blow to kingdom come. Even the manufacturing company, Samsung, has taken a notice of this… anomaly and has finally decided to recall the units summing up to a staggering 2.5 mil. Here are the details of what caused Galaxy Note 7s, released 15th September and prior, to go boom and what your options are regarding this colossal mess.
We wish Samsung took out some time to answer these questions earlier, but for many customers, it’s still not too late. Samsung UK has recently posted a QA section addressing questions about 7 and what caused the phones to celebrate early 4th of July.
Now, Samsung has posted a Q&A section on its UK news portal where it announced the Galaxy Note 7 where it explained what the issue is. According to Samsung’s investigation, it turns out to be an issue with the phone’s battery cell and according to the manufacturer, has nothing to do with the phone. Isn’t that a sign of relief? This means that if you can just get a new battery from an iPhone & Samsung Accessories supplier for your running Note 7, your phone can be safe once again. Samsung further says the overheating and then the subsequent explosion issue was a result of electrodes coming into contact, which, rest assured, is a very rare manufacturing issue.
And since it’s only limited to Note 7s, owners of S7, S7  Edge and others don’t have to be worried about anything at all, since each model has a different design and goes through different manufacturing process. S7 owners can use their phones free from any sort of tension. If the phone does exhibit an issue post-warranty period, users can always buy parts from reliable iPhone & Samsung Accessories store.
It still remains unclear if Samsung itself was the sole entity responsible for this train wreck since company says they collaborate with various supplier to stay abreast with demands. With that said, Samsung nailed the coffin saying customers are always on top of their priority list and that they’re doing everything possible to make sure customer satisfaction is met.

My take on all this? If you have Note 7, the best bet for you is to have it changed with a new Note 7. You can contact your vendor or contact Samsung at 1-800-SAMSUNG for a through guidance on how to have it replaced. You can also get a battery from a vendor that supplies iPhone & Samsung Accessories, but like I said, getting a new phone is always a better option. Also, if you haven’t bought a phone Note 7, it’s better to pass this one and go for an S7 or an iPhone 7 instead. These are by far, more reliable than Note 7 and iPhone & Samsung Accessories are also easier to find compared to Note 7 which is already being called back. One final suggestion will be to go for S7 or S7 Edge in case of replacement because yes, Samsung is allowing that so it’s great to get something that’s proven to be reliable than Note 7.

iPhone Repairing DIY

Now that we're all inseparably fastened to our cell phones, it's particularly baffling when they break. All of a sudden you're cut off from the world, not able to talk, and Google. So what happens when your iPhone hits the ground and breaks? Then won't turn on again? Perhaps it's something essential, or possibly not. Whatever the case, you may think you can fix it yourself. If you are familiar with the use of a screwdriver, then you know how to open a troubled PC, but iPhone repairing? Is it easy for you?

How about we look at some common issues and see if it is smart to fix them.

The ragged-out battery

It's a tragic truth that rechargeable batteries wear out after some time. After around a year, you'll likely notice that your iPhone doesn't keep going as long between charges. At two years, normal runtime plunges. In the end, you'll be fortunate if you receive half a day in return.

Tragically, Apple makes it troublesome for users to replace an iPhone battery, and attempting to do as such will void the warranty. Obviously, after the first year you're out of warranty in any case, yet it's still a genuinely precarious piece of gadgets surgery.

Out-of-warranty iPhone batteries are replaced by Apple for $79, and you can most likely find an iPhone repairing shop that will do likewise at low cost. In case you're happy with working with gadgets, you can likewise hit up eBay for a cheap substitution battery and toolbox for around $15, then check-out Youtube videos for instructions.

The busted screen

It's not Apple's mistake that gravity pulls your iPhone down, which is the reason a broken screen isn't secured under warranty. Statistics demonstrate that a broke display is the main issue experienced by cell phone owners.

Is it true that this is something you can fix yourself? With substitution batteries, you can also find substitution screens on eBay and how-to repair videos on YouTube. Yet, opening up your iPhone will void whatever guarantee you have left, so it's not a smart thought unless that warranty has expired.
